Dear Students,
We kindly inform you that the procedure for registration for seminars starting in the winter semester of the academic year 2026/2027 has been launched for the following programmes:
- Global Finance and Accounting – studia I stopnia stacjonarne / first-cycle full-time studies
- Finanse i rachunkowość / Finance and Accounting – studia I stopnia stacjonarne i niestacjonarne / first-cycle full-time and part-time studies
- Bankowość i zarządzanie ryzykiem / Banking and Risk Management – studia II stopnia stacjonarne i niestacjonarne / second-cycle full-time and part-time studies
- Finanse i rachunkowość / Finance and Accounting – studia II stopnia stacjonarne i niestacjonarne / second-cycle full-time and part-time studies
One of the criteria for seminar allocation will be the grade point average (GPA) obtained by the student during their previous studies.
The limit of places in a seminar is defined by the Rector’s Regulation (Rector’s Regulation No. R.0211.67.2025 of 17 December 2025).
For each mode and level of study, a list of supervisors has been established by the Director of the Institute after consultation with the Institute Council.
Stages of seminar registration
1. Consultation with a potential supervisor (13–18 March 2026)
Each supervisor may place a maximum of 3 students on their preliminary list.
Before registration, a student interested in writing their thesis under a specific supervisor should discuss the preliminary research topic via email and present information on their academic activity (e.g. participation in student research groups or other institutions).
A student may be included on the list of only one supervisor.
The supervisor prepares their list (max. 3 students), including:
- programme name,
- mode and level of studies,
- student’s full name,
- student ID number.
If a supervisor does not include a student on their list, the student must participate in the next stage of the registration procedure.
2. Submission of lists
By 19 March 2026, departmental offices submit lists of selected students to the Student Services Centre.
3. Registration period
23 March – 1 April 2026
Students register according to the following schedule:
- 23 March 2026 – registration for Group I (9:00–23:59)
- 25 March 2026 – registration for Groups I and II (9:00–23:59)
- 27 March 2026 – registration for Groups I, II, and III (9:00–23:59)
- 31 March 2026 – registration for Groups I–IV (9:00–23:59)
Group allocation is based on the GPA obtained during previous studies:
- Group I – GPA ≥ 4.5
- Group II – GPA 4.0–4.49
- Group III – GPA 3.5–3.99
- Group IV – GPA < 3.49
Students who do not register for any supervisor will be assigned by the Director of the Institute to supervisors whose lists are not filled.
