Institute of Finance – registration for elective courses in the summer semester of the academic year 2023/2024, first-cycle studies

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We kindly inform you that on:

On November 27 – 29, 2023, we open registration for elective courses in first-cycle, full-time and part-time studies in the following fields:

• Finance and Accounting – full-time studies – maximum limit of 150 people per subject; entry criteria – order of applications,
• Finance and Accounting – part-time studies – maximum limit of 111 people per subject, registration criteria – order of applications,
• Global Finance and Accounting – full-time studies – no limit.

Information about the rules for enrolling to elective courses

Registration (enrolment) for elective subjects takes place via the USOSweb system.

The course is launched provided that the minimum number of Students is registered for it, in accordance with a separate Rector’s Regulation (Regulation by the Rector of the Krakow University of Economics No. R.0211.15.2022 of February 28, 2022).

Registration is carried out in two rounds:

• November 27, 2023 – 1st round, between 9.00 – 23.59
• November 29, 2023 – 2nd round, between 9.00 – 23.59

according to the following rules:

1. In the first round, all Students choose a subject.
2. The Director of the Institute indicates the elective courses that will be launched.
3. Students who chose subjects in the first round that will not be launched, and Students who did not choose any subject in the first round, will take part in the second round.
4. If the Student fails to select an elective course in the second round, he or she will be assigned to a course designated by the Director of the Institute.

The Director of the Institute makes the decision to launch elective courses in specific fields of study based on the list of enrolled Students, taking into account the above provisions.
